The American Osteopathic College of Proctology is a national association of proctologists, colon and rectal surgeons, and other physicians dedicated to advancing and promoting the science and practice of the treatment of patients with diseases and conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus.

Our mission is to upgrade the practice of proctology and to increase the knowledge of the specialist as well as the general practitioner in the diagnosis and treatment of proctologic diseases. To train physicians through residency programs, and to preserve and perpetuate the specialty of proctology.
